Doctor Kevin Kunard - DDS
I was born and raised in Pinedale, Wyoming. After finishing dental school I returned to Pinedale with my family and started Pinedale Dental. It has been a great pleasure for me to return to my home town. I have a beautiful wife (Kelly) and three beautiful daughters (Tacy, Tatum, and Sara). My wife and I started Pinedale Dental just out of school in 1998. She is a registered Dental Hygienist. I enjoy spending time with my family and I also like hunting and fishing and my newest passion of flying.
I graduated from Pinedale High School in 1988. My undergraduates were completed at Utah State and BYU University. I really enjoy continuing education classes in the field of Dentistry. I have attended one of the top continuing education institutes in the United States, The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and have learned an immense amount of knowledge, but I am always humbled by the amount of things I have not yet learned. I am excited about the new technology that is in dentistry today and strive to bring our patients as much of this technology as possible.
Kelly Kunard - Registered Dental Hygienist-RDH
I’m Kelly, wife of Dr. Kunard. I met Kevin while attending Hygiene School in Nebraska. I have been active in the Dental field for 17 years, the past 12 years I have been a Dental Hygienist.
Since becoming a mother of my 3 beautiful daughters Tacy, Tatum, and Sara, I only work one day a week. I enjoy keeping up with hygiene but raising a family is a full time job.
I also have a great love for horses. I have 5 horses which I try to ride on a daily basis and I compete in local barrel racing events throughout the summer which is a great passion of mine.
Pinedale Dental is a very successful practice and I thank our great team for working so hard to make it such a success.
Tayte Biffle Racich - Registered Dental Hygienist-RDH
My name is Tayte Racich. I went to school at the University of Wyoming receiving a degree in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. With an interest in dentistry I worked for Dr Kunard and went back to school at Sheridan College to receive my second bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene.
I feel fortunate that I could get a job with Dr Kunard and work in a state of the art practice with a great TEAM. I value the quality of dentistry Pinedale Dental has to offer and look forward to assisting patients with their dental needs to maintain healthy smiles. My goal is to make each visit a pleasant one where patients receive a comfortable and positive experience.
My husband Loren and I grew up in Pinedale and love living in this great community. We take full advantage of the outdoors and enjoy living close to both of our families and our close friends we grew up with.
Gwen Hill - Dental Assistant
My name is Gwen. I have been with Pinedale Dental working as an assistant since 2001. I stay busy with our state of the art practice. Besides General Dentistry we do many Cosmetic Cases, CEREC (in office crowns), Dentures, Neuromuscular Dentistry (TMJ) and bleaching, all of which I assist Dr. Kunard.
I have lived in Pinedale for 10 years with my tow sons. Pinedale is a great place to raise my children. Hunter, my youngest, enjoys the outdoors by snowboarding, fishing, hiking and biking. Ty (big brother) plays the drums (a little too much) and also enjoys the great outdoors.
In my free time, I volunteer with Sublette County EMS as an EMT-IA. I have been certified since 2000. This is a very exciting and rewarding part of my life.
Cassy Johnston - Registered Dental Hygienist-RDH
My name is Cassy Johnston. I have been working at Pinedale Dental since 2002. I enjoy working with Dr. Kunard as well as the rest of our team. I feel we are truly a TEAM. I can help you improve the health of your smile. I strive to treat all patients gently and thoroughly. My husband Tom and I have 3 children. We enjoy ranching together. My daughters Emily and Lainey are involved with 4H, and FFA. I can be found at the fair grounds during the county fair helping my children with their beef projects. My son Luke is in college and ski races.
I love to ski! I grew up ski racing. I volunteer coach the Sublette County Ski Club during the winter. I would like to pass on my knowledge and love for skiing to all kids in Sublette County.

Cheryl Sanford - Dental Assistant
Hello. I’m Cheryl Sanford. My husband Ron and I moved here from Washington State in 2007. Ron and I were married in 1991. His sister Vikki Sherman and her husband Jeff Sherman also live here along with his parents, Ron and Arleen Sanford. My husband started his own business here in Pinedale working on diesel engines. I personally have been in dentistry since 1988. I enjoy working with patients and helping to provide a needed service. When I met the team here at Pinedale Dental I was impressed with the energy and atmosphere. I’m privileged to be able to work here and hope my skills will continue to grow along with theirs.
Bernie Majhanovich - Office Manager
Hi-my name is Bernie. I have lived in Pinedale for 30 years with my husband Jay. Our five children were raised here and it is such a joy to have nine grandchildren living here and watching them grow up. I began working for Pinedale Dental in March of 2002. I started out as a dental assistant and held that position for two long years. Dr. Kunard finally gave up on me and offered me the position of Office Manager.
I enjoy people and the chance to visit with so many on an individual basis. Our TEAM here is one of the best, making my job a breeze. Dr. Kunard keeps up on the latest technology that the dental field offers. We have a well designed office for the comfort and well being of our patients with state of the art equipment.
Julie Baker - Scheduling Coordinator
My name is Julie Baker, I am originally from Utah but met a Pinedale guy, married in 2008 which brought me to Pinedale to live. Being a city girl, Pinedale was certainly a big change for me. I have grown to love this community and the great people who live here.
I am the Schedule Coordinator and Insurance Manager for Pinedale Dental. Dr Kunard and his office is one of the best I have ever worked in. Dr Kunard keeps up with all the state of the art technology and we go to continuing education yearly. I started working here in 2008. This is my first job in the dental field and I love it! Dentistry is an amazing field to be in and I am so grateful I get to be a part of the Pinedale Dental Team.
